Carolina Guzmán is the Owner and Lead Appraiser at Ottawa Real Estate Appraisals. She brings over 9 years of experience in the appraisal profession developing both residential and commercial appraisals. Her areas of expertise in residential valuation include executive homes, multi-unit properties, construction appraisals, residential lots and waterfront properties. Her areas of expertise in commercial valuation include office, retail, industrial, mixed-use properties, and commercial land.
Carolina completed the Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University, obtained her Diploma of Urban Land Development (DULE) with the University of British Columbia Sauder School of Business, and her AACI designation from the Appraisal Institute of Canada in 2019. After receiving 3 years of mentorship under a local AACI within a private firm, she went on to do public sector appraisal work for the City of Ottawa. She continually adds to her educational experience having completed the Appraisal Institute of Canada Continuing Professional Development course in Effective Co-Signing and Overseeing Candidates and numerous other courses.
Having completed extensive valuations within the private and public sectors, she founded Ottawa Real Estate Appraisal (OTTREA) where she leads and co-signs for candidates and has now established herself as a knowledgeable expert in the Ottawa residential and commercial real estate appraisal practice.
